Front and back are worked simultaneously. Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st. Start at motifs.
Motif (make 18 motifs) Ch 4. close ring. Follow chart and once chart is completed, fasten off.

Part 1 Make 4 dc joining second and first motifs. Join a total of 6 motifs. Close all motifs forming a ring. Follow chart – Part 1 joining motifs accordingly. Work from * to * (horizontally) until you have a total of 30 rnds. Once part 1 is completed, set it aside.

Part 2 Make 4 dc joining second and first motifs. Join a total of 12 motifs. Close all motifs forming a ring. Follow chart – Part 2 joining motifs accordingly. Once part 2 is completed, fasten off.

Band – crochet back and forth. Ch 15 + 3 to turn. Follow chart, rep from * to * 60x. At the same time you make the band, join it into Part 1 – make the sc of band into mesh of part 1. Close band forming a circle and join part 2 with one a rnd in sc – make 1 sc in the band and 1 sc into part 2.

Finishing Cut elastic in 5 equal parts, fold and use tapestry needle to insert elastic into 5 rnds of Rib. Tie edges tightly to avoid unraveling. Use fabric to line skirt.
