Back = front (mk 2 identical panels) Use Natural Cotton 4/10. CO 70 sts onto needles 10. Follow chart 1 – 1×1 Rib st up to 1.5”. Follow chart 2 – Pattern A = 17 motifs + 2 edge sts up to 14.25”. Switch to Charme (use 2 strands). Follow chart 3 – Pattern B and rep sts up to 16.25”. Start neckline shaping: BO the 40 central sts and work sides (15 sts each) separately. At 20” from the beginning BO all remaining sts.
Sleeves (mk 2) Use Charme (2 strands). CO 66 sts onto needles 10. Start at cuff. Rows 1 – 16: Follow chart 4 – Pattern C – 4 motifs + 2 edge sts.
Row 17: dec 16 sts (alternating) = 50 sts. Follow chart 2 – Pattern A – 12 motifs + 2 edge sts up to 2.75”. Dec (alternating) 8 sts in the last row of Pattern A = 42 sts. Make 6 rows following chart 5 – Pattern D – 20 motifs + 2 edge sts. Inc (alternating) 6 sts in the last row of Pattern D = 48 sts and then follow chart 3 – Pattern B and rep sts up to 17” from the beginning. BO.
Beautiful Beige Crochet Top
Assembly and finishing Use Charme (2 strands) and tapestry needle to close left shoulder (4.75”), leave right shoulder open to make collar. Collar: Use knitting needles 10 to pick up 138 sts around neckline. Follow chart 1 – 1×1 Rib st and rep sts up to 1.5”. BO leaving a tail for sewing (8”). Insert tail into tapestry needle and close collar (1.5”) and right shoulder (4.75”). Switch to Natural Cotton 4/10 to close sides (13.5”), leave 6.75” open for arms. Use Charme (2 strands) to close sleeves (17”) and sew them onto body.
